We principally handle transactional work, mostly in real estate development, acquisitions and leasing, secured transactions, commercial and construction lending, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, contract law, distribution and franchising, private equity, and trusts and asset protection.  We also manage litigation and dispute resolution, distressed commercial loan restructurings and workouts, note transfers and foreclosures, as well as bankruptcy settlements, plan confirmations and Section 363 asset sales.  We frequently assist family offices and businesses that have relocated to Puerto Rico under tax incentives decrees issued under Acts 20 and 22 of 2012, as amended.

We’ve been representing business owners, developers and institutional lenders in Puerto Rico over the course of the last 16 years.  We've structured and closed countless acquisitions and commercial financing transactions. We know the players and the territory well.  We strive to maintain excellent relationships with our clients and with our peers.  From the initial term sheet through the closing and beyond, our mission is: (1) to get deals closed quickly, safely, efficiently and in avoidance of unnecessary turbulence; (2) to protect our clients; and (3) to create value.

We dislike the billable hour and, whenever possible, prefer to offer our clients alternate billing arrangements in the matters entrusted to us.
